The Only Proven Substitute To Cooling Towers
Mist Cooling System [MCS] based on natural cooling principle is a Revolutionary System essentially used to cool large quantities of hot water with an approach of 1℃ to wet bulb temperature, making Conventional Cooling Towers / Spray System obsolete.
MCS finds application in all types of Process Plants & Power Industries where cooling water plays an important role in the process.
MCS induces water to intensive automization where water particles are sub-divided to around 5 microns. The automized particles shoot out of Mist Creators at an immense speed and rise to a height of 7 to 8 meters. This ensures extensively large surface area for a longer interval and at high velocity providing mist formation. Surface evaporation is very fast, faster than the time needed for reaching equilibrium. This is similar to phenomenon of formation of hailstone, when rainwater reaches temperatures much lower than wet-bulb temperature.
COLD WATER TEMPERATURE
Mist Cooling System ensures an approach of 1℃ to WBT with a temperature drop of 12℃. Also, MCS is the only system which guarantees a temperature drop up to 40℃ in one stroke.
ENERGY SAVINGS
MCS saves energy in duel form, on circulation pumping and fan power. Water pressure required for operation at GL is equivalent to the height of cooling tower.
PROCESS BENEFITS
Due to such low temperature from MCS, your plant can operate at the designed vacuum in summer and monsoon thus maintaining same plant efficiency throughout the year.
MAINTENANCE
Non moving parts, Fin-fill less design/ choke-less design of nozzles makes MCS totally maintenance free.

Louver Type Mist Cooling System (NO FANS USED) is used for water cooling in Power Plants as a superior alternative to conventional cooling towers. It combines technology of cooling towers & Mist Cooling in a unique fashion thus giving excellent results with reduced Energy requirement & totally maintainace free operation. LTMCS requires only 50% of Plot size as compared to open pond. Also due to Louver Type design water losses due to drift are limited to less than 0.02%.
Due to unique design of our Advance MCS, you can expand your sugar factory without any extension of your spray pond. MREPL has introduced a new concept of Revolutionary 8-way Header Design with Enhanced Efficiency Mist Creator Nozzles. It is now possible to install entirely new MCS for Final expanded capacity of Sugar Plant by replacing old Spray System in the existing Spray Pond only, saving considerable cost and space. Advance MCS ensures a constant cold water temperature of 32°C with a temperature drop of 10°C to 12°C throughout year with a very low working pressure of 0.8 to 1 kg/cm2.
